About GrillDude

I have been grilling for about 15 years and almost exclusively using gas.  Charcoal is just too time consuming and messy for as often as I grill (which is about 3 times a week).  It wasn’t until about 5 or 6 years ago that I started grilling things other than steaks and hamburgers.  This is in thanks to my friends and neighbors, and a few BBQ and grilling book purchases from Bobby Flay and Stephen Raichlen.  Believe it or not, I have actually grilled a Lobster!  I don’t claim to be a chef, and probably not even an great cook, but I love grilling and welcome good ideas.  Hmmm…..this may actually mean that I like to play with fire.

I am an IT guy, but that doesn’t make me an expert blogger.  Anyway, I like playing with technology, so I figured I would give this a shot…and it is turning out to be fun.  I am also interested to understand what drives traffic to a website, so I have been playing around with some of the blog directory sites such as BlogCatalog, and Technorati, and watching Google Analytics to give me some traffic info.  Also, I have a lame FaceBook entry that I really don’t use, but interestingly, it has driven traffic to this blog.
